I am Tijmen Massier. As chairman, I am responsible for cohesion in AvL and its board. This is why I play a key role in target and goal setting, on both personal and professional levels. I keep an eye on planning and the course of affairs in AvL and I serve as a first point of contact in the association. In september of 2024, I started my masters BioMedical Engineering (Neuromusculoskeletal biomechanics track) and I decided to join AvL’s 20th board.

I am Paul van der Valk, the secretary of board 19 of AvL. Not only am I the one keeping the whole study association up to date through e-mail, I also write the monthly newsletter. I make notes of every meeting to make sure everyone is able to look up import mentions during these sessions. As a first year BMD student I am also easily reachable for my fellow students and always up for professional and fun activities with my board.

Nina de Bruin

Hi, I’m Nina de Bruin, the treasurer of AvL. I oversee our financial operations, keeping track of all income and expenditures throughout the year. My responsibilities include preparing the annual budget, managing accounting processes, and monitoring acquisitions to ensure everything runs efficiently. My top priorities are maintaining full financial transparency and practising strategic budgeting to support AvL’s long-term growth.

Hi, I am Laura van der Hart, commissioner of internal affairs of board 20 of AvL. My job is keeping close contact with all students and members by answering their questions regarding both educational and social matters. I also make sure our members are excited about activities by promoting all our activities on our (social media) platforms.

Belle Loogman

I am Belle, one of the two Commissioners of External Affairs of AvL. Together with Anouk, I am responsible for the acquisition of the study association to ensure adequate funding for all activities. Besides that, we are working on building a bridge between the students of AVL and interesting companies. This will help students find internships and create possibilities for their future careers.

Hi, I am Anouk I am one of the two comissioners who is responsible for external affair’s.  This year I will talk do different companies so you students can come in contact with these company’s for internships or future work. In my free time I like to draw, take a walk, listen to lp’s and make photographs.
