On Friday the 24th of November around 18:00 in Delft, we will organize a Friday afternoon drink for AvL Alumni and students.
Here you can meet up with old peers, meet other professionals in the field or get in contact with current BME and BMD students. As a student, you can get an idea of what you could become after graduation and get some tips and tricks on how to get there.
Of course, it is also a great moment to socialize; bring back old memories, share experiences and see where your peers ended up. Like a high school reunion, but better.
Still in doubt? Good to know that the first drinks are free! (First come first served).
So, what are you waiting for? Sign-up, so we have an idea how much people we expect on this great event!
Antoni van Leeuwenhoek
Study Association Antoni van Leeuwenhoek is the student society for the master programs BioMedical Engineering and BioMechanical Design* at the Delft University of Technology. The society was founded in January 2006, shortly after the initiation of the master programs. Ever since, the society has rapidly developed with increasing numbers of members, activities, excursions, tours and study cases throughout the academic year. To date, the society counts more than 600 members, ranging from 1st years to 3rd years master students. The master brings together students from many different backgrounds (i.e. different bachelors of science) and different nationalities. The society aims to bond these students together and give them insight into their career possibilities.
As a study society, we give our member students the opportunity to widen their scope in their field of work. To introduce them to various industries and evolving research, we organise these multiple study related excursions, guest lectures, cases, study tours, social activities and much more for them to take part in. Not only are we hereby of service to our students, but also allow companies and institutes to come into contact with the students, advantageous for any type of collaboration.
The study society is run by the board consisting of six part-time students from both masters and varying backgrounds. Together with the Study Tour committee, Edu-Board and the Activity Committee, they manage all aspects of the society.
